GLODERM Mentorship Programme - Call for Mentee applications now open!
Please find below some exciting news from the International Alliance of Global Health Dermatology (GLODERM) regarding a call for applications for the GLODERM Mentee | Class of 2024-2025 Mentorship Programme.
The International Alliance of Global Health Dermatology (GLODERM) was established in 2018 by the International Foundation of Dermatology (IFD), the ILDS' humanitarian arm). GLODERM brings together a unique community of dermatology professionals with a focus on Global Health Dermatology. Connecting these individuals, at all career stages, who are passionate about the advancement of skin health in resource-limited communities, locally and globally is central to GLODERM’s mission.
GLODERM Mentorship Programme
The Mentorship Programme is a cornerstone of GLODERM’s sustainable and integrated approach to improving dermatologic clinical care, education, research, policy, and advocacy. The programme brings together Mentor-Mentee Pairs from all over the world to share knowledge and grow the skills needed for Mentees to become leaders. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN to become a GLODERM Mentee - Class of 2024–2025
The Mentorship Programme will bring together successful mentee applicants, who either live or work in resource-limited settings, with global health dermatology experts for a one-on-one mentorship experience lasting 12 months.
The aim of the programme is to enhance mentee skills relevant to global health dermatology, including:
- Capacity building
- Setting up programmes
- Leadership development
- Building a career that incorporates global and/or community health
We hope mentees can grow their skills needed to become future change-makers!
Deadline for application submission: 20 March 2024

Please note, this programme is not for medical students and will not be focused on clinical skills - this programme is designed to enhance the leadership and professional skills of mentees on an eligible dermatology pathway. Further details on this criteria can be found in the application form.
